Aisha Allee declared Africa’s most influential woman in business & govt for country & region
Aisha Allee, founder of Blast Communications and CEO of Jupiter Drawing Room Mauritius, will represent Mauritius and the IOC region in South Africa in November 2015 as Africa’s Most Influential Woman in Business and Government for both the country and the region.
Founder of Blast Communications and CEO of Jupiter Drawing Room Mauritius, Aisha Allee has been crowned Africa’s Most Influential Woman in Business and Government under the category “Business and Professional Services” at both national and regional levels.
Aisha Allee will go to South Africa in November, 2015 to receive the award and to represent Mauritius and the Indian Ocean Commission at an event organized by media major, CEO Communications.
Based in South Africa, the company issues the monthly publication titled CEO magazine and Africa’s annual special editions of the Most Influential Women in Business and Government, as well as TITANS – High rise Nations.
“It is an immense honor for me to be considered as one of the most influential women in Mauritius and in the region. It is also a big responsibility and I hope to be able to live up to it. If I am here today, it is largely thanks to the people who trusted us, to my team which is very dynamic and to my business partner Lekha Seebaluck who has supported me for years. I think that Blast Communications and Jupiter Drawing Room Mauritius have a bright future ahead of them,” declared Aisha Allee.
It may be recalled that the Mauritian entrepreneur also won AfrAsia Tecoma’s “Entrepreneur of the year” title just last year, becoming the first woman to win the coveted prize.
In 2004, Aisha established Blast Communications, a communications agency specialized in public relations. Ten years later, the agency is one of the leaders in the PR domain in Mauritius and has spread its wings by opening an office in Seychelles in 2012 and by working repeatedly with companies from Réunion.
To widen its regional imprint and its portfolio of services, Blast Communications joined hands in 2012 with The Jupiter Drawing Room, an advertising agency based in Cape Town, and created The Jupiter Drawing Room and Partners (Mauritius) that is managed by Aisha Allee.
