BAI Mauritius wins accolade at Global Brand Excellence Awards 2014

Mauritius leading life insurance provider, BAI Co (Mtius) Ltd, has been conferred the “Brand Revitalization Award” at the prestigious Global Brand Excellence Awards 2014 organized by the World Brand Congress.
This makes it yet another international award this year for the insurance major, just a few months after the announcement that it has been chosen for the prestigious title of “Best Life Insurance Provider Mauritius 2014” by the International Finance Magazine (IFM).
The 23rd edition of the annual awards ceremony for the Global Brand Excellence Awards was recently held at the Pan-Pacific Hotel in Singapore, bringing together brand specialists representing some of the world’s most popular and most sought after brands.
The nominations to win a trophy for excellence are evaluated by an international jury made up of experts in the field of branding, advertising, communication and marketing from over 50 countries.
Besides BAI, some of the other international brands that were rewarded during the ceremony include Samsung, Emirates NBD, Manchester United, Reliance and LinkedIn.
Rishi Sookdawoor, President and CEO of BAI, welcomed this award with pride.
“The Brand Revitalization Award offers recognition for the success of the campaign launched to refresh our brand, which included several innovative platforms to support our commitment of being close to our clients at every stage of their lives,” said Rishi Sookdawoor.

Finally, the brand is also being repositioned at the international level to better support the company’s expansion plans.
BAI has 45 years’ experience in the insurance industry and specializes in life insurance, pensions, medical insurance and loans.
