Barclays Mauritius innovates with Barclays Premier League Card
Barclays Mauritius has launched the Barclays Premier League Card to offer customers an exceptional experience in the form of a journey to the United Kingdom to attend a Barclays Premier League soccer match, which is the bank’s way of rewarding loyal customers through a lucky draw.
To offer its customers a unique banking experience and to make their dreams come true, Barclays Mauritius has launched the Barclays Premier League Card in the colors of the English championship.
This initiative was undertaken in partnership with the Barclays Premier League. It aims to allow customers of the bank and members of their family to experience the unique atmosphere of a London soccer match, by attending the event pitting Arsenal against Tottenham in March 2016.
During his speech at the evening ceremony held to launch the card, Ravine Dajee, Managing Director of Barclays Bank Mauritius, focused on the importance of innovation.

Our partnership with Barclays Premier League helps us offer customers an exceptional experience in the form of a journey to the United Kingdom to attend a Barclays Premier League soccer match. It is our way of rewarding our customers for their loyalty.”
To be lucky enough to win this exceptional prize, customers simply have to make purchases with a Barclays credit or debit card till December 31, 2015, explained Suren Ramchurn, Head of Cards at Barclays.
“Any credit card application approved until December 31, 2015 gives the de facto right of participation to customers in the draw of lots. Besides, Barclays promises access to other innovative offers, in particular through the Merchant Discount Programme, which allows every credit or debit cardholder of Barclays to benefit from select offers and exclusive discounts for more than 100 brands throughout the country.”
