Central Government gross domestic debts amounted to Rs 16.3 billion in November 2014

The Budgetary Central Government gross domestic debt has registered an increase of 9.9% to Rs 16.3 billion at the end of November 2014 compared to last year at the same period where it was Rs 14.8 billion.

On the other hand, compared to October 2014, a net decrease of Rs 481.9 million was registered, where the Budgetary Central Government gross domestic debt of October 2014 was Rs 24.9 billion.

By Original Maturity and Instrument, the Budgetary Central Government gross domestic debt was composed of short-term obligations of which treasury bills for November 2014 was Rs 26.4 billion compare to Rs 24.9 billion October 2014.

Medium Term of which treasury notes for November 2014 was set at Rs 47.6 billion compared to October 2014 where it was Rs 49.2 billion, which is a decrease of Rs 1.6 billion.

Finally, the Long-Term Obligations the Five-Years Government of Mauritius (GoM) Bonds for November 2014 was Rs 35.4 billion compare to Rs 35.5 billion.

Under the same heading the Mauritius Development Loan Stocks (MDLS)/GoM Bonds was Rs 53.3 billion on November 2014 compared to 53.8 billion on October.
