#DETOX Workshop boosts the brands with the digital communication

Mauritius’ pioneer advertising agency, Maurice Publicité Ogilvy and Mather, organized the #DETOX Workshop on the latest trends and perspectives of the digital communication to mark its 90 years of existence, in the presence of renowned experts such as Dave Duarte.
It was in the warm atmosphere and in an innovating spirit that the interactive conference entitled ‘#DETOX-digital therapy for your brand’ was held, from October 28 till 30 2014, at Voila Meetings, Bagatelle.
The #DETOX conference was organized together with its subsidiary Tryangle Powered by Neo@Ogilvy, specialized in the digital communication and with the support of MatchBox, another Maurice Publicité’s subsidiary, specialized in the event management.
Within the framework of its 90 years, Maurice Publicité Ogilvy and Mather wanted to share with its Mauritian partners and the representatives of the media, the advantages of platforms and the most recent tools in digital communication and communication of the brands.
The objective behind this event was to allow companies and present organizations to understand better the factors required for the benefit of their brands in the present context and in the future, by taking into account the realities and evolution of the communication.
For the organizers, it was a means to help the customers and the partners to develop the necessary standards to get rid of negative elements affecting their brands and to optimize them.
Some 120 customers and partners of the agency attended this conference on 29th and 30th October 2014. October 28, 2014 was reserved for the staff of Maurice Publicité Ogilvy and Mather.
Dave Duarte, well-known international icon for Ogilvy Digital Marketing Academy of South Africa, and for other experts, among whom John Cooper, Executive Chairman and shareholder of Rocketseed Ltd, animated the ‘#DETOX- digital therapy for your brand’.
Dave Duarte addressed subjects on : implementation of strategies around the brand image; use of the digital media to enrich the customer’s brand; basic elements for the on-line advertising; the key elements for an effective on-line display; optimization of the Web site; trends in the research marketing; mobile marketing; management of on-line reputation; and the strategy of viral marketing and the contents of social Web.
As for John Cooper, he presented on innovative solutions of e-mail marketing. Moreover, Maurice Publicité Ogilvy and Mather benefits from the exclusivity of innovative e-mail solution of marketing for the Mauritian territory.
