Emtel partners with Manchester United to get exclusive football content to customers

Mauritius-based telecommunications major Emtel, which was the first mobile operator in the Southern Hemisphere, announced another first yesterday as it embarked on a multi-year partnership with the world’s most famous football club, Manchester United.
As the first official Triple Play Partner in the region, Emtel’s new partnership will allow its customers to stream Manchester United content across TV, mobile and internet platforms.
Fans will get access to the latest player interviews and behind-the-scenes footage, together with detailed insights into the history of the club, and this will be done in conjunction with CANAL+ and CANALSAT Mauritius.
“Our partnership will not only bring our fan base in Mauritius new and exclusive content, but the content will also be delivered in unique and exciting ways,” said Group Managing Director of Manchester United, Richard Arnold.
Furthermore, with this partnership, Emtel customers will enjoy a huge range of exclusive Manchester United content.
