After setting foot in Mauritius, Roche Bobois, the French furniture company represented by Sandrine and Bernard Fanchette, will soon head for Africa, with its mission being to manage the first franchise of the French furniture company, which will open its doors in Cape Town on August 26, 2015.
Roche Bobois, one of the French leaders in high-end furniture, will open its first showroom to Cape Town, on August 26th, across a retail surface of 700 square meters. This store will set the tone for the second showroom, which will be situated in an extremely upscale district in Johannesburg, in South Africa.
With its first showroom in South Africa, the Fanchette couple shall strengthen their experience in the sector of furnishings, in the service of the famous international brand.
Both entrepreneurs are also going to ensure the management of Vivere group audits for two other subsidiaries, Vivere Living and Mobalpa in Mauritius as well as in the region, given they have already supplied households in Madagascar, in Seychelles and in Kenya, from their base in Mauritius.
Bernard Fanchette declares: “It is an honor for Sandrine and I to contribute to the regional expansion of this brand and be the standard bearer of French lifestyle. We are honored by being confided with the South African franchise, which grants us the status of being leaders of the brand. We plan to develop the South African market for Roche Bobois and to boost the brand on this territory. As for our clientele in Mauritius, we shall always be present with our team, to bring them quality service, as we have always provided, right from the beginning of our adventure in Mauritius.”
Gilles Bonan, Chairman of the Management Board of the Roche Bobois group, underlines: “Sandrine and Bernard have brought in extraordinary work to Mauritius and in the region. They serve as role models for the distributors of Roche International Bobois. Turnover growth of the Mauritian showroom places it among the first four out of 16 stores in the Middle East and Africa for the first half of 2015. The Mauritian store plays without doubt in the big league, ahead of Algeria and Morocco, and together with Casablanca, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. I am convinced that they will meet the African challenge easily.”
Besides, the franchise sets itself apart with the personalised service which allowed the famous French brand of furniture to position itself as one of the key players in the market for luxury furnishings. At the same time, it allows the Mauritian entrepreneurs running the franchise to position as specialists in embellishing homes in Mauritius as well as in the region.
