Mauritius aviation major launches Caribbean’s first private terminal
After a successful launch in Mauritius, the luxurious YU lounge has been launched at St Kitts & Nevis by Veling, in collaboration with the Government of St Kitts & Nevis, St. Christopher Air & Sea Ports Authority (SCASPA).
Mauritius-based aviation infrastructure major Veling Group has introduced its Leeward Flight Services VIP Private Jet terminal to the Caribbean islands.
Leeward Flight Services opened its doors on May 2, 2014 to welcome its first guests at Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport, St Kitts (SKB).
After a successful launch in Mauritius, the luxurious YU lounge has been launched at St Kitts & Nevis by the Mauritius-based aviation services company.
The state-of-the-art facility becomes the second location to introduce the premier YU Lounge service.
This new gateway to the Leeward Islands is designed to deliver a seamless, efficient and customer centric service to guests travelling into SKB by Private Jets and Commercial flights.
In addition, LFS will provide a comprehensive range of ground handling services for aircraft operators, including a dedicated crew lounge.
The project is the result of a collective effort of the Government of St Kitts & Nevis, St. Christopher Air & Sea Ports Authority (SCASPA), and the Veling Group.
Veling management expects the LFS and the YU Lounge to set a new benchmark for services in the Caribbean.
