Mauritius expects over 300 buyers from Africa & Europe at MAITEX 2014

Mauritius will hold its signature trade exposition, MAITEX, from August 21 to 24, 2014 at the Swami Vivekananda International Convention Centre (SVICC) at Pailles, where over 300 buyers from Africa and Europe from more than 20 different countries are expected.
The annual international trade event hosted by the island economy is organized by Enterprise Mauritius, the premier trade promotion agency of Mauritius.
During the third edition of this event, the first two days are exclusively reserved for B2B meetings, while the remaining days will be open for sales to the general public.
This year’s edition will boast myriad events, such as a trade exhibition for goods manufactured in Mauritius, the fourth edition of the Mauritian Jewelry Trade Exhibition, the third edition of the Mauritian Rum Festival; and finally, selected exhibitions from India and Seychelles.

Some of the companies which have confirmed their attendance at the event are: Avipro Co. Ltd, Aadicon Biotechnologies Ltd; Innodis Ltd’s Agri-business section; Innosense International Ltd; and Pluie D`or Co Ltd, among many others.
Enterprise Mauritius has confirmed that around 150 exhibitors from different sectors and industries have already registered.
Furthermore, for this year edition’s, Enterprise Mauritius has roped in the support of various hotels such as the Voila Hotel at Bagatelle, Pearle Beach Resort & Spa, Cocotiers and many other, which would be offering preferential rates to the foreign visitors attending the fair.
