Mauritius realty up as multiple properties launched under integrated resort scheme

Since legislation in Mauritius was amended to allow foreign ownership of residential property in Integrated Resort Schemes and subsequently Real Estate Schemes, the island economy has seen a large inflow of property buyers and investors.
In this race to churn out more and more leisure properties and permanent residences, many companies are now investing in the real estate industry, thus giving a fresh breath of life to Mauritian realty.
Coming to new villas, the just launched La Tourelle Ocean Villas, an Integrated Resorts Scheme (IRS) property, serves as a great point of reference.
Set on eight acres, the first phase of the new development, which is located on the west coast just minutes from Tamarin Bay and called the La Tourelle Ocean View Villas, comprises 26 luxury villas, ranging from 330sqm to 700 square meters.
The villas will also convey a seamless flow between interior and exterior, with outdoor terraces and large expanses of glass enabling residents to take maximum advantages of the panoramic views.
Moreover each of the villas has the option of being fitted with the latest high-tech home automation, interactive multimedia systems and interactive TV systems.
When completed, La Tourelle Ocean View Villas will comprise a total of 78 units, with the construction of the first phase anticipated to commence in mid-2015.
With 50 years of experience in property development and key infrastructure projects, the developers of the project are Sunset in Paradise Ltd, part of the Bhunjun Group, which is among the Top 50 companies in Mauritius.
In the race for becoming a leader in the real estate sector in Mauritius, Villas Valriche is also an active player.

Villas Valriche is now launching its latest phase of luxury private residences, including the last remaining golf frontage plots, the 32 individual plots vary in aspect and size and benefit from spectacular golf, sea and mountain views.

Finally, IRS property La Balise Marina, which covers an area of 12.8 hectares, is emerging as a place of exclusive living, and, spurred by its success, is pursuing an ambitious expansion plan.
The second phase comprises apartments instead of villas and duplexes, which were built under the first round of construction.
Overall, there are 70 new apartments on the anvil, following the construction of 113 residences comprising 17 villas and 96 duplexes in the first phase.
The 70 apartments would be sold for prices starting from Rs 20.30 million, and encompass two to four bedroom apartments varying from 125 to 255 square meters.
Furthermore, the second phase of construction offers exciting avenues such as Sunset restaurant, Kids Club and restaurants which are accessible to the general public. There is also a bar, a restaurant and a swimming pool Infinity in the offing.
Started since December 2013, the expansion project is expected to be completed by the second half of 2016.
