The Mauritius Union Group is proud to present its new interactive website to promote its services while offering an effective management tool for its customers.

This new on-line platform reflects the dynamism of the company in kickstarting a major project for the update of its website, introduced in March 2014.

This launch signals the conclusion of a major project which has mobilised a significant number of employees from various departments of the Mauritius Union Group, aiming to offer customers a simplified and user-friendly browser, innovative content and new online customizable services.

These in-depth changes are part of a project realised in partnership with one of the European leaders in website development, which specialises in websites for insurance clients.

Furthermore, this new website aims at gathering all the companies of the group under one structure while giving them greater flexibility.

This has allowed the Mauritius Union Group to improve the brand image of the company while conferring on it the reputation of being modern and innovative.

In terms of browsing, the customers can now action their needs more easily, through a simpler process which is oriented around their specific requirements.

For example, Click & Go, the online auto insurance product, that was launched a couple of years, has benefited from new features allowing the clients to use the new option ‘Quick Quote’ which gives them a quote in less than two minutes.

On the other hand, the travel insurance product, I-Go, now forms part of a new suite of online products for travelers looking for an insurance cover during their stay abroad.

Click for Life for its part possesses all the attributes of a full-fledged online life insurance product.

This new platform embodies the positioning of the group by adopting a customer-centric approach designed to place the customer at the core of their business.

Their main menu incorporates new visual codes, a whole range of innovative services such as ‘Quick Quote’ giving access to an estimate in record time, ‘Personalise your quote’, or still more, ‘Decide your payment facilities’, which are features that add flexibility to the customer’s choices.

The internet users can now customize their quotation according to their domains of interest and their financial means.

“This site is an accessible tool which facilitates the insurance process, adds value to the customer and strengthens the existing services that the Group already offers. It also creates an important space to strengthen relations with our clientele by using the modern tools that the internet offers,” said the CEO Designate of Mauritius Union Group, Bertrand Casteres.

The major advantage of the internet is that it helps reduce the customer`s waiting time and also saves the client from having to physically come down to the agency premises, besides giving them simple and fast access over computers, smartphones or tablets.

“With this launch, the Mauritius Union Group wants to respond to the change in demand by our customers,” Casteres added.

By giving its clients the opportunity to shift to the internet, the Mauritius Union Group does not just aim to offer customers a cutting-edge tool at the forefront of technology, but also to increase e-commerce and thus, be the first to contribute to a change of consumer behavior in the insurance sector.

“Nowadays, the dynamism of the existing markets intensifies competition, and, with the emergence of new markets, the Mauritius Union sees a permanent need to innovate to optimize services to customers,” he noted.

The CEO designate concluded on the note that the company is happy to allow its customers to reach multiple offers in a single click on a 24/7 basis.
