MCB named Mauritius’ Commercial Bank of the Year by International Banker
Prestigious publication International Banker has named MCB as the Commercial Bank of the Year in Mauritius for the second consecutive year, upon stimulating world economic trade and creating opportunities which favour growth, while adhering closely to regulations and respecting good governance norms.
The prestigious publication, International Banker, has yet again conferred the title of “Commercial Bank of the Year” for Mauritius on the MCB. Besides, the Pan-African bank was also nominated in the category of “Best Customer Service Provider of the Year” for the entire African continent.
International Banker got votes from more than 100,000 decision-makers from the financial sector worldwide and it is the second consecutive year that the MCB has swept these honours.
International Banker, a publication by the Finance Publishing group, annually rewards banks which surpass themselves to achieve excellence in the banking and financial world. In particular, the title of “Commercial Bank of the Year” honours institutions which stimulate global economic trade and create opportunities which favour growth, while being duly respectful of regulations and good governance norms.
This year, the MCB distinguished itself thanks to the excellence of its customer service, the launch of new services to meet client needs, its successful presence in the African market,
its continuous investment in new technology and training, and its commitment to society under its Corporate Social Responsibility program.
