Samsung &ENL associate Superdist join hands to get latest technologies to Mauritius
Samsung has joined hands with ENL Commercial’s associate firm, Superdist,so that the South Korean brand can position itself better in the Mauritian market and the latter, one of the main local wholesalers of products and computing solutions, can offer Samsung’slatest technologies to local customers. Samsung Indian Ocean Islands announced its partnership with Mauritian IT wholesaler Superdist at the Maritim Hotel at Balaclava, Mauritius on Friday, 22 May 2015, in the presence of key Samsung staff from South Africa.
The members present at the occasion were provided with the unique opportunity of discovering a plethora of cutting-edge Samsung products through demos, covering, among others, printers offering high resolution quality that can connect to a mobile device wirelessly and print documents on the go.
The South Korean brand, which is one of the leading market players in digital technology, has decided to take its brand to the next level in Mauritius through strategic partnerships that offer the best technology to island companies, to provide onward to their customers.
“We know that to reach our goals, we have to maintain good relations with our leading distributors. It is in line with this approach that we saw the opportunity to conclude a partnership with Superdist, which is a major player on the local market and in the region as well,”said Samsung’s regional director, Navin Peerthy.
This new collaboration will open avenues for fresh commercial perspectives to emerge, and will help the global brand move closer to Mauritian companies. This collaboration concerns the computer hardware that the brand offers, in particular printers, monitors, smart signage, hospitality display, and WiFi tablets.
“This collaboration is targeted at professionals and companies, and will allow the latter to have access to the latest technologies offered globally by Samsung,”added Navin Peerthy.
Superdist’s managing director Teddy Dacruz welcomed this collaboration and highlighted: “This partnership allows us to diversify our range of products and services to respond effectively to the technological needs of our customers and better meet the expectations of our IT retailers. Samsung technology, taken together with our expertise in the field of the distribution, will benefit the Mauritian market immensely.”
