Savills to sell golf property purchase in Mauritius

PR Web reports that fully-established residential resorts in Mauritius are now on for sales. The luxury gold lodges within the Amalthea neighbourhood through Savills International, with the unique opportunity of free access to the renowned international golf courses – Ile aux Cerfs and Four Seasons Golf Course Mauritius at Anahita

Designed as an unforgettable golf experience by South African champion golfer Ernie Els, the golf course at Anahita is an 18-hole, 72-par championship course with large fairways and five sets of tees, managed by Four Seasons Golf Club. Woven into the tropical sanctuary, the course is set against a backdrop of lush mountains and fringed by the vast crystal-clear lagoon. Six stunning oceanfront holes culminate in a final shot that is among the most spectacular in the world. Built to USGA standards, it is the first of its kind in Mauritius.

Ile aux Cerfs 18-hole championship course, is the second longest in Mauritius and recently named 10th best golf course in the world. It is situated on its own beautiful tropical island across the lagoon from Anahita Mauritius and is reached by Anahita The Resort’s private boat service.

Other golf related facilities have also been considered. A vibrant bar, well-stocked pro shop, shower, locker and fitness centre facilities, are all located on the premises. Complementing it all is Four Seasons Golf Academy, driving range and putt course, fully-equipped to enhance any golfer’s game.

The resort is fast becoming an essential stop on the international golf circuit. With annual tournaments such as the Afrasia Golf Masters being held at the resort, Anahita Mauritius became, in 2012, the proud sponsor of two internationally recognised golf champions: Nicolas Colsaerts of Belgium and Hennie Otto of South Africa. Both players are to be found practising their games at Anahita’s golf course during the year.

The winner of the “African Property Award for Best Golf Development, 2008” Anahita Mauritius are currently offering the opportunity to receive two-years free access at the two renowned international courses at Anahita upon the purchase of a golf lodge within the Amalthea neighbourhood.

Amalthea is the latest phase at Anahita, with 63 properties in total, located next to the sea and surrounded by golf. There are 11 villas, 12 townhouses, and 40 duplex lodges. All units are located within a pedestrianised and landscaped neighbourhood accessible by golf cart only, and bordered by holes one, eight and nine of the Ernie Els golf course. All units are fully serviced and managed including 24 hour concierge and housekeeping services. Owners also have full access to Anahita’s beach, pool, restaurant, sports facilities and services.

The property at Anahita will also demand high rentals, and with a fully-managed rental programme, 20 of the lodges at Amalthea benefit from a guaranteed rental income of 4%.

By investing in Amalthea at Anahita Mauritius, buyers qualify for Mauritian residency as well as the IRS programme on Mauritius with benefits including 15% income tax.

Backed by two leading industrial and investment companies based in Mauritius, the Amalthea neighbourhood is currently being offered for sale through Savills. Amalthea indicative entry prices range from €490,000 for the lodges to €630,000 for mid-range duplex, and villa prices start at €790,000.
