I was travelling slowly through the centre of Jaipur, taking photographs, when my wife nudged me and pointed to the driver of the tuk-tuk alongside ours, who was leaning out and trying to attract my attention. My favourite photo of the trip!Photograph: Kevin Freeman

Llano de Combeima, Colombia
A polyphemus moth. My family rented an Airbnb country home to spend Christmas Eve together. This was taken in the early morning. The moth was still and cooperative, and allowed me to get a real closeup of its back. I simply felt enthralled by the hairy texture and beautiful, lush simplicity of this amazing creature.Photograph: Daniel O Mosquera
