Unnati Negi takes over as Fortis Clinique Darné COO from Dr Simardeep Singh Gill

Mauritius’ respected healthcare service provider Fortis Clinique Darné has appointed a new Chief Operating Officer (COO), India-born Unnati Negi, as a successor to Dr Simardeep Singh Gill, who had been in office since March 2011.
Unnati Negi has more than 20 years of experience in upper management positions across Indian and international institutions. She has handled business development, marketing and project management roles for national and international organisations, including the British High Commission and General Dental Council (UK). She has been associated with the healthcare industry since 2003, and was associated with Max Health Care and Medicity prior to joining Fortis Healthcare.

Unnati Negi has been working in the healthcare sector since 2003 when she was associated with the launch of cancer research centers at one of India’s largest healthcare services providers, Max Health Care. Just before joining the management team of Fortis Clinique Darné, she was working at Fortis Memorial Research Institute ( FMRI) in India as head of operations for allied hospitals. She was responsible for the administration and global management of three hospitals, Fortis-CDOC, Fortis Aashlok and Kalyani Hospital.
Unnati Negi has participated in several national and international workshops, including a course at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta where the workshop dealt with brand management. She has also undergone several training courses on advanced management, customer service and sales with international trainers, which helped her to sharpen her analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.
