Have an urgent parcel to send across but are on the road and can’t sight any express delivery counter? You just might need to make a pit stop at a Vivo Energy gas station to get your job done.

In partnership with international express and logistics major DHL, Vivo Energy, the distributer of Shell fuel and a market leader in gas distribution in Mauritius, has launched an express delivery service in seven of its Shell gas stations.

Following conveniences such as car wash and maintenance hubs, retail shops, dry cleaning services, fresh fruits and vegetables, Shell gas stations will now offer counters for international deliveries, further enhancing their attractiveness to become the favoured point of sales in Mauritius.

With the aim of making its customer’s life easier and making their purchasing experience even more rewarding, the DHL counter had been made operational since last month at the Shell gas stations at ‘La Vigie’ , Curepipe, Floréal, ‘Flic en Flac’, ‘St Jean’, Ebène and Arsenal.

Other Shell gas stations will soon follow to strengthen Vivo’s mission, which is: the modernisation of existing shops, the construction of new shops in other locations and the creation of partnerships with big value-add to suppliers, which will allow Vivo Energy to improve service levels, and, finally, enhance operational excellence.

“Vivo Energy Mauritius concentrates more on convenience retailing activities and this focus springs from a will to improve customer experience at our Shell gas stations,” said Kiran Juwaheer, the General Manager of Vivo Energy Mauritius.

The transformation of Vivo Energy Mauritius seeks to allow a larger clientele to take advantage of the operational excellence standards that are championed by Shell gas stations.

“Our objective is to transform our gas stations little by little in order to become a ‘One Stop Shop’ which meets all the needs of our customers,” he concluded.
