Vivo Energy Mauritius, distributor and seller of fuel and lubricants of the Shell brand in Mauritius, recently rewarded the personnel of its service stations for their performance at the Retail Customer Value Proposition (RCVP) award, which was held at the Voilà Bagatelle Hotel.
The RCVP Awards are awarded each year to honor the efforts of managers, fuel attendants and ‘Quality Marshall.’
At the award ceremony, the Retail Manager of Vivo Energy Mauritius, Krishna Vencadachellum , explained that it is necessary to encourage all actors of our distribution network to maintain a quality service throughout the year.
The winner of the RCVP Award established a reference, which motivates the other managers to raise the level of service.
“We want our gas stations to be a place where our customers do not come for necessity but because they know that they will find what they need other than fuel. This is why we also place great emphasis on convenience retailing,” Kiran Juwaheer, Managing Director at Vivo Energy, noted.
During the year, sites are evaluated on many criteria. The amount of products, site compliance as well as health, employee safety and respect for the environment compared to the company’s standards are analyzed.
The Southern gas station run by Mohit Assen, has outperformed the category ‘Mystery Motorist Programme.’
Every four months, anonymous juries fill a scorecard incorporating different aspects, which allows the sales department to continuously assess the respective service stations and the level of services offered, in order to focus on improvements to meet the philosophy and corporate image.
Finally, through this initiative, Vivo Energy Mauritius ensures the customer satisfaction and that the compliance of services are not only respected but also raised each year.
